P.C. JIM JONES.
P.C. Jim Jones was the tallest Police Constable in the Wolverhampton Police Force between the wars.
I met his family about 15years ago in Geoffrey Banghams Piano Bar at the rear of The Connaught Hotel Tettenhall Road.
They had traveled there to see Geoffrey as part of a family history search regarding Jim's time as a Constable in town.
I now have few pictures of Jim who featured in many scenes of Wolverhampton.
The first places Jim on traffic duty in Queen Square, the other one I believe is part of a road safety project taken outside the old Tram/Bus Depot in Cleveland Street.
